As part of our recycling scheme, we sell seasoned firewood in the colder months to keep you all warm.

In compliance with new government legislation which came into force from May 2021, our logs are all hardwood and have a moisture content of 20% or less.

All firewood has been seasoned for at least two years before being sold.

Our hardwood comes from the waste products of our tree work. 
To give you an idea of what wood you can expect in a delivered bag. You may get – Oak, Beech, Apple, Pear, Cherry, Plum, Birch, Acacia, Maple, Sycamore, Ash, Damson, Hawthorn, Horse Chestnut to name a few.

We transport the timber back to our yard, where it sits as cordwood for a time. 
Then it is cut to a suitable length for splitting. We then use our dedicated log splitter to split the logs into decent firewood sizes, bag them up in big bulk bags and stack them in a massive Dutch barn which has excellent ventilation to ensure the best conditions for drying, becoming the perfect log for your open fire or stove, pizza oven or chiminea
